• You are responsible for the management of the relationship with all suppliers with special focus on the procurement for UITS.
• You ensure the management of the processes for/ with all IT suppliers including all due diligence and on-going supplier assessments, service reviews and contract renewals.
• You ensure tracking of what is being delivered and takes care that it satisfies the needs of UITS (transparency on deliveries, pipeline activity and status against service level agreements
• You ensure implementation, review, reporting and maintenance of the service catalogue change management
• You ensure all IT Services provided by UITS to its customers are based on SLA driven service agreements
• You ensure management and control of demands for computing resources, translation of business processes and priorities as well as architecture requirements and priorities to service requirements and priorities and ensures assignment of these needs to SLAs, the design of services, their implementation into the service catalog as well as the assignment of all found dependencies to resource utilization, service availability and service continuity
• You establish and maintain an effective supplier placement strategy
• You drives improvements in supplier performance through use of analytics and leveraging of incentive program
• You work with suppliers to share best practices which improve performance across suppliers
• You analyze, negotiate and administer new or existing contracts (regarding Hardware, Software, Services, SLAs, OLAs) that meet internal contractual requirements within the organization, also communicates status of sourcing contracts to all levels within the organization
• You conduct price and scope benchmarks of existing services to ensure valuable contracts and services
• You ensure management, review and reporting of the service of internal and external IT providers ensuring these meet the required service level agreements and deliver the agreed services
• You manage financial aspects of business, supporting the budgeting and forecasting process, tracking the IT expenditure in conjunction with purchase order process for all IT suppliers
• You ensure the evaluation, reports, continuous reviews, test and implementation of (new) techniques and methodologies regarding resource utilization, service availability, service continuity and SLA management
• You ensure the definition, implementation and compliance of resource utilization, service availability and service continuity guidelines and ensures further improvement of guidelines, concepts and related service
• You ensure the definition, implementation, maintainence and compliance of hard- and software order processes
• You ensure monitoring, measurement, analysis, adjustment, refinement, reporting and reviews of all necessities in resource utilization management, service availability management, service continuity management and SLA management
• You ensure annual test plan for backup and recovery scenario and failover tests their execution and review
• You ensure support of Architecture in ensuring the design, evaluation, test, order and implementation of high-availability, redundant systems to support mission-critical applications
• You support the personnel planning for the group in collaboration with resource management
• You ensure the building of the annual infrastructure growth plan with input from other team
• You ensure the risk assessment and the determination of costs to mitigate those risks, and prioritizes which needs, services or SLAs for service availability and service continuity will be progressed through a Risk Assessment
• You are responsible for personnel management and the personnel development for the national and international group

Prioritnou činnosťou úseku SWS je vývoj a údržba softvéru pre komerčné poisťovne patriace do skupiny UNIQA. Koncentruje sa najmä na systém INAS, ktorý je určený pre správu portfólia poistných produktov, poistných zmlúv a poistných udalostí, klientských, partnerských a účtovných údajov. V posledných rokoch sa dostáva do popredia vývoj moderných webových aplikácií nadväzujúcich na systém INAS.
Úsek CBS, ktorý vznikol v roku 2006, sa zaoberá správou poistných zmlúv a likvidáciou poistných udalostí klientov rakúskeho poisťovacieho koncernu.
