System Support Specialist

• Provide Customers/internal support information related to EDI issues/fixes/suggestions
• Identify, document and discuss process/EDI updates which can improve EDI and/or reduce failures and/or reduce supporting time need
• Provide Customer Support, for the Ingrammicro company on the problem management of customer issues, utilizing all of the companies development resources to resolve customer issues
• Provide cost effective solutions to customers/internal issues within the company guidelines
• Assist in the preparation of the new processes, procedures, training materials , and/or train users in the proper use of hardware and software
• Test and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors before deploying updates/improvements/fixes
• Read technical manuals, confer with users, investigate and resolve problems and to provide technical assistance and support
• Prepare evaluations of software or hardware, and recommend improvements or upgrades
