Job description, responsibilities and duties

The key activities of the Country Sales Lead will centre around building a sustainable business in a newly established market within 2-3 years. This includes the full commercial sales responsibility for the market in terms of revenue, gross profit and sales related spending. The development should be based on a thorough market analysis, sales and marketing planning for the three strategic areas of hardware, solutions and logistics services. Furthermore, an important aspect is the relationship management and drive of sales with key direct customers and vendors.

Besides the sales management the Sales Lead has to ensure that the organization is growing organically while the business is growing, building the necessary sales and support organization in close collaboration with the team in Slovakia.

This individual will have strong project and budget management skills, excellent communication and writing skills, must be detail-oriented and motivated, and will work well as a team player while leading a growing organization.


Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for the sales and marketing in the country including budget and results agreed with the management
• Build and lead the local sales and support team
• Build and maintain strong and positive relationships with key customers and vendors at a senior level in the country and – if necessary – across borders
• Work closely with the Head of Sales and Senior Sales Manager to define sales strategies and measures, develop an accurate forecasting, budgeting and reporting for the country sales.
• Install, maintain and develop a solid sales pipeline for hardware and Value-added-Services (Solutions and logistics services) in order to
 Drive the acquisition of customers from different market segments including but not limited to retail, e-tail, MNO, MVNO
 Drive the solutions sales to customers from the consumer electronics and High-Tech industry
• Develop and drive alignment, including processes, systems and goals between sales, product management, product marketing, ensuring business and company objectives are met.
• In conjunction with HR, provide coaching, training and assistance to Direct Reports including
 Setting of Key Performance Indicators
 Measuring Key Performance Indicators
 Reviewing business metrics and applying corrective action (if required) to ensure that Ingram Micro is performing according to
• Ensure any enhancements and continuous improvement projects and system changes are managed, documented and completed.
• Ensure the Sales teams are compliant with company and department procedures and processes.
• Recruitment and selection - in accordance with the Ingram Micro recruitment policy and in close collaboration with the HR-dept
• Ensure that Operations and Finance Teams are across sales activity that would have a direct impact on their business
• Ensure the development of direct reports in the key areas of personality and business knowledge and execution e.g. sales planning, product marketing and budget management. All with the goal to establish a successor in case yourself advances to the next level.
