About the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Testing Team Officer is responsible for testing of regular upgrades and ad-hoc changes mainly in the area of payment processing including SEPA and SWIFT as well as related static data.

It is advantage if Testing Team Officer has some banking and payments product and processes knowledge. The Testing Team Officer will be part of team providing services towards various ING branches mainly The Netherlands and CEE countries (Hungary, Czech, Bulgaria and Slovak branch) .

He/she will cooperate with support teams in Europe and in Asia.
He/she will work with several systems and applications used for financial transaction processing in respect of FAT and UAT testing.
He/she is capable to absorb new in order to understand the operation.


Main activities:

  • Testing of regular system upgrades and changes mainly in the area of payments and static data
  • Testing of systems based on ad-hoc requests
  • Timely and precise reporting of the gaps and following the solutions
  • Static data settings, modification, analyses of static data change
  • Test cases creation and test cases preparation
  • Test execution (capture, verify, connectivity checking, file checking... checking of all processing)
  • Test coordination (task assignment to our clients and GSO departments ; controlling of task execution; coordination of concerned parties cooperation; test results summarizing; know-how providing to concerned parties)
