Plant Supply Chain Manager

Position Summary:
Manages and develops the decentral team for planning for production and suppliers, the warehouse and transportation activities in the region and the Supply Chain engineering team involved in new business implementation/ industrialization.
This function is responsible for balancing inventory, freight costs and SCM employee costs versus customer delivery performance for the local plant.
For new business, in the industrialization process this function takes responsibility for the implementation of the in- and outbound material flow, using standard packaging standards and prepares the data in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system LNinfor.
This functions follows up on local SCM KPI’s and initiates saving and improvement projects aimed at continuous improvement of quality, safety, costs and delivery performance in the area of planning, material handling and warehouse operations, transportation, customers and logistics engineering for new projects.

Scope:
• Responsible for Customer Care & local customer scorecards
• Responsible for Planning the weekly Production plan and KPI’s (Stock turn, customer delivery, Supplier Schedule attainment, Obsolete/Excess/NCR stock, unplanned changed overs due to material shortage, Sales & Operations (S&OP) Accuracy)
• Responsible for compliance to global Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) procedures
• Responsible for local inventory management (turn, accuracy, obsolete/excess/NCR)
• Responsible for compliance to global SCM procedures and policies
• Responsible for safety in the warehouse operations (Injury rate)
• Responsible for local purchase releases and forecast to suppliers
• Responsible for local freight and customs (Freight % of Sales)
• Responsible for local warehousing handling
• Responsible for local plant material flow and linefeeding process
• Responsible for KPI’s, Management reports and continuous improvement delivery, costs, quality and safety for the local plant
• Responsible for supervision of all local plant materials, logistics and supply chain engineering employees
• Responsible for talent development local SCM
• Partner with local production, purchasing and engineering

Team structure:
• Reports to local Plant Manager
• Dotted Line to Director Regional SCM
• Works directly with local production, purchasing and engineering and regional External Logistics manager, Supply Chain Engineering manager and Materials Manager
