Senior Manufacturing Engineer

• coordination and methodical leading of engineering team (product and manufacturing engineers)
• definition of the production process based on product specification with consideration of the production effectivness, minimized risk of the scrap, NOK parts creation and safety of the operators.
• creation of ramp-up scenarios, the project time schedule from start until SOP
• responsible for definition of the proper manufacturing concepts for the roofs assembly
• standardization and continuous improvement of flexibility of the chosen equipment for roofs assembly
• performance of capacity studies and cost analysis based on information from the sales department
• development of specifications for specific manufacturing facility and devices for the roofs assembly
• comparison and selection of suppliers of manufacturing equipment for the roofs assembly
• onsite pre-acceptance of equipment at the supplier, implementation and release process
• creation of training plans for employees
• co-ordination of the PFMEA process for manufacturing facilities for roofs assembly
• support for all departments within the plant in activities related to the launch of new projects for the assembly of roofing systems (purchasing, layouts, material flow, implementation of work instructions, control instructions, safety regulations)
• transferring all customer/OEM specific requirements into the project/process (technical specifications and requirements, drawings, identification, traceability)
• within ongoing projects support all activities to solve quality/warranty issues and synergize the corrective actions
• attending the design reviews, leading change implementation process (product/process change) within given area of the resposibility
• leading product and process industrialization tests
• applying LEAN principles within production
• applying 5S standard
• continuous improvements of the processes and manufacturing devices capability in term of improvement of the LE, scrap rate, PPM and safety
• creation and update of the production documentation
• elimination of the condition in collision with safety and paralel informing towards supervisor
• participation on all required trainings leading to expertise improvement
