Applications support engineer

For our multinational Business Partner we are seeking an

• 
  Act as first-line support for the business


• 
  Support the company’s ERP system


• 
  Analyse and Troubleshoot Issues


• 
  Work with other team members to create good quality, effective business applications.


• 
  Identify and make suggestions for improvements in systems design and coding.


• 
  Deliver system technical and user documentation as required.


• 
  Such other comparable duties as may be required by the Head of Department

• 
  MS SQL 2005 or 2008 knowledge


• 
  Excellent communication skills in English: ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally


• 
  Ability to effectively prioritise issues .

• 
  Demonstrable and working Unit Testing (Visual Studio Unit Tests) knowledge using VS2012


• 
  Experience with software development, T-SQL development in particular


• 
  Any Team Foundation Server experience


• 
  Any experience with 3^rd party controls with particular regards to Infragistics controls


• 
  Ideally degree educated in a software development discipline

•
