Job description, responsibilities and duties
As a skilled and experienced Production Manager, your primary responsibility is to lead the production team and ensure the smooth operation of the entire production process. You are dedicated to maintaining and improving health and safety standards and fostering a healthy work environment for all team members. With a strong focus on quality, you oversee the production of excellent furniture for IKEA customers.
In addition to managing budgets and production KPIs, you ensure that our machinery runs efficiently. Your priority is continuous improvement, aiming to streamline production processes in a simpler, more efficient, cost-conscious, and smart manner. You set up and implement strategies to optimize resource utilization, ensuring that we make the most efficient use of materials, manpower, and machinery.
As a member of the management team, you report directly to the Site Manager, collaborating closely with other departments to develop and implement strategies that align with our production objectives. By leveraging resources effectively and implementing innovative approaches, you strive to contribute to the overall success and growth of the organization.
