Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Responsible for the goods accessibility on Sub-contractor side with aim to fulfill IKEA
customers orders
• Check goods availabilty
• Communicate inventory deviations
• Secure deviation handling and capacity planning
• Set supply steering parameters (packing lead time, transport lead time, etc.)
• Responsible for packing cost structure analysis
• Secure packaging service price update
• Create and maintain purchase agreements
• To proactevily work with presumtive obsoloscence and scrap
• Plan and execute rework and un pack orders
• Release trasport orders for External Packing Service Providers

Information about the selection process

The Operational Packaging Specialist is responsible to ensure that Sub-contractor has goods ready in time in order to fulfil IKEA and customers’ needs.
Work actively with deviations and secure fulfilment of packaging figures and measurements.

The contract is limited for one year.
