Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Budget responsible for all the cost related to packaging and distribution unit including staff cost, operational cost and investment cost, and monitor and control it in a good way
- Secure the Packaging and Distribution excellent operation through leading the leaders for the functions of packaging, warehouse, distribution, Packaging planning and maintenance
- Secure good communication and partnership between different functions within IKEA Components
- Participate and contribute in creation of the Packaging and Distribution Business plans
- Secure competent and high-performing teams and leaders
- Lead the organization in a lean and simple way in order to improve ways of working to identify and develop new business opportunities and business potential
- Identify and develop the many talents within the Packaging and distribution unit to secure succession planning
- Ensure that the P&D unit works ethically and in compliance with internal regulations and external laws including legislation relating to risk, environment, health and safety
