HR Manager

ABOUT THE JOB

This challenging position of HR manager calls for a talented person who will drive people agenda within the store. The main responsibility of HR Manager is to establish IKEA as the preferred employer by attracting those who share the IKEA values, ensuring a systematic development for all co-workers, inspiring the co-workers to perform and remain with IKEA.

Your tasks will include:
• Ensure the proper implementation of HR policies and procedures, and compliance with legislation and regulations
• Responsible to create an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers
• Take ownership for unit’s business KPI's with specific focus on HR KPI's
• Accountable for having in place a succession strategy and specific actions and works with the functional managers to provide development opportunities
• Responsible for execution and promotion of the VOICE survey in store unit and ensures that co-workers work with the results
• Supporting competence development in store unit
• Responsible for internal communication and inspiration of co-workers to perform and grow within IKEA
• Leading the HR department with 3 employees

ABOUT YOU

• Identify with IKEA values and has a desire to live them in the daily work
• Management and leadership experience; Human Resources Management preferred
• Ability to provide others with clear direction and goals
• Labour law knowledge
• Business-minded
• Lead by example, give clear and honest feedback, identify and develop qualified people, attract and retain good co-workers
• Take initiative, maintain ownership and push things forward until completion
• Relate well to people at all levels, build effective networks and communicate clearly
• Work strategically to realize organizational goals, to develop a vision and to work out a concept for HR department
• Excellent English language skills spoken and written
