Job Description

Mission:

• To support TSS revenue growth and PTI by deploying and enabling new service offerings.

• Offering Manager is responsible for the localization (translation and local adoption) of enhanced and new service offerings as well as for the local deployment execution to enable local Sales, Business Partner, Delivery and other functions if needed.

• To support TSS revenue growth by deploying and enabling new service offerings by driving TSS and other IBM support functions including Pricing, Legal, Risk Mgmt, Delivery, Service Planning etc.

• Interfaces with the client facing units to understand new client needs and raise new offering development projects requests.

• Understands local market needs to get global offering development projects in line with local market demands.

• Acts as the Subject Matter Expert for a subset of service offerings of the TSS Portfolio.


Tasks:


• Responsible for the local announcement, deployment & enablement TSS offerings

• Localizes offering collateral including; client presentations, SOW templates, pricing & cost models and demand generation material and executes offering deployment initiatives.

• Manages the service product design and deployment through IBM support functions including Global Offering development Team, Contracts & Negotiations, Pricing, Legal, Quality Assurance, Delivery, Service Planning, BT/IT, etc.


Skills:

• Ability to understand the related products produced by focused Brands, their future roadmap as well as current and future business requirements
• Ability to understand and translate market expectations into support requirements
• Ability to build and verify business cases
• Ability to understand the TSS offerings portfolio, service levels and delivery methods
• Deep knowledge in the TSS processes and tools, especially Contract Management tools (e.g. CHIS).
• Awareness of the TSS business environment, the portfolios of local competitors.
• Ability to work and negotiate and to gain agreement and focus on the common global strategy.
• STS GTS, GBS, STG experience is a plus
• Delivery experience, Product management, Offering management experience is a plus

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Skills: Deep knowledge in the TSS processes and tools, especially Contract Management tools (e.g. CHIS). Awareness of the TSS business environment, the portfolios of local competitors. Ability to work and negotiate across IMT and gain agreement and focus on the common global strategy.


Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

Languages - German, Italian, french, Spanish good to have ( + other european languages are very welcome ) - but not necessary
