Contract Management Advisor - RFS

As the most fast paced, dynamic area of IBM’s Strategic Outsourcing business, the SO RFS (Request for Service) business is responsible for working with existing SO clients to shape and execute new projects and new workloads.
In this respect SO RFS is a critical engine for growth of the SO business and a key contributor of revenue and GP. Client orientated leaders with an ability to get things done and an energy and enthusiasm to lead and grow teams within IBM’s strategic services portfolio will be well suited.
Those with an aptitude to combine leadership with business development and sales skills will thrive.
Functioning as a stand alone P&L, roles in this part of the business also provide opportunities for the development of operational and financial management skills and business leadership. High performers in this environment will gather skills and experiences that will enable progression to other leadership, sales management or P&L roles.


Responsibilities:

• Achieve RFS revenue and GP targets, showing week on week progression and quarter on quarter growth;
• Work alongside key stakeholders to execute account growth strategies and maximise RFS Revenue and GP;
• Shape and drive an appropriate RFS growth plan for your client with the account team;
• Engage with clients directly, to secure increased IBM project wallet-share;
• As the customer focal point for RFS, optimise RFS execution by collaborating with other members of the SO account team;
• Demonstrate ‘end to end’ focus for RFS from initial discussions with the client to evaluating the success of the projects;
• Identify operational improvements; such as ‘cost of sale’ efficiencies to maximise GP;
• Pro-actively improve the business controls posture for your contract, ensuring audit compliance;
• Take responsibility for RFS Customer Satisfaction and demonstrate year to year improvement.
