Recruitment Professional 

Job description
This role sits within GBS and assists in the management of experienced hires into this business unit across Europe and reports to the GBS Europe Recruitment Leader. The Recruiting Specialist (RS) will work in parallel with the Recruitment Programme Managers (RPMs) in Europe to deliver the recruitment of experienced hires. Employee will not only be responsible for managing the candidate pipeline and the mechanics of the process but also for getting involved with candidates by carrying out CV reviews, scheduling interviews and process the ticket requests in Metro.

The key aims of this role are:
• to assist and guide GBS in the delivery of its hiring plan
• to work with the Recruiting Programme Managers (RPM) in the team to provide experienced hires into the GBS service lines
• to work with local HR (Recruitment) in country to ensure an end to end recruitment provision
• to work with Metro tool to ensure that all hiring requests are submitted and processed
• to work with GOM - IBM hiring tool, to ensure interview scheduling and offer processing
• to reduce the amount of recruitment hours currently spent by client-facing individuals and managers
• to improve GBS time to hire (Application to Offer)
• to improve the overall candidate recruitment experience

Additional Information

The detailed responsibilities of this role are as follows:

• Work with the RPMs to understand the business needs and the specifics of the roles within service line/s
• Work with the RPMs to constantly analyse the GBS candidate pipeline to ensure that there are sufficient numbers of applicants coming through and that these are being efficiently moved through the process
• Work with the HR Recruitment team and Direct Sourcers to improve the quality of screening and the candidates selected by direct sourcing
• Ensure that all candidates are mobile in Europe and that all service lines are dedicated to hiring a diverse workforce via equitable process
• Work with HR Recruitment to ensure that the candidate pipeline is up to date/accurate at all times.
• Have a solid working knowledge of the Global Opportunity Marketplace (GOM) tool.
• Where necessary ie where volumes require, ensure optimum number of screened CVs are provided to hiring managers for review quickly
• Assist to coordinate first interviews - ensure all involved in interview process are IBM certified (ie Interview the IBM Way)
• Track interview results and ensure candidate feedback is obtained and provided in a timely manner
• Liaise with Local HR Recruitment regarding candidates and slots for assessment centres and hiring days
• Ensure all offer requests are made on GOM as quickly as possible following service line confirmation of “selected for offer”

Requirements:
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and stakeholder management skills – the ability to work with many different groups of stakeholders across 18 countries
• Influencing and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work either as individual and a part of a team
•MS Excel 2010 and higher version - upper-intermediate (will be tested)
•MS PowerPoint or an open source presentation application - upper-intermediate

Skills Preferred :
• Use of Social networking sites such as Linked In and Twitter for recruitment sourcing
• Experience in resource management or HR/ understanding of the role of HR, procurement and/or marketing

Required
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 1 year experience in HR
  • At least 6 months experience in Excel
  • English: Fluent
Preferred
  • Master's Degree in Business/Management
