Cognos Solution Consultant will primarily apply technical skills in an internal or external customer billable services and implementation environment. Job Role description and responsibilities: IT BI/DW technical consultant / Cognos Solution Consultants will have expertise in modeling, simulating and analyzing the "as-is" and "to-be" scenarios, being responsible for successful delivery of Business Intelligence and Performance Management (BIPM) solutions and related components. These consultants will deliver innovative business consulting, business process design, systems integration and application design. They will primarily apply technical skills in an internal or external customer billable services and implementation environment. Required: Bachelor's Degree For BI/DW consultants at least 2 years experience in IT sector with any of the following areas: • Cognos BI • Business Objects BI • Oracle Enterprise BI Server • Oracle Hyperion System • Pentaho BI suite • SAS For Cognos Solution Consultants at least 2 years experience in Cognos BI Suite (Framework Manager,reporting studios – Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Query Studio) At least 2 years experience in data modeling (logical and physical) Keen interest in progressing career into the BI / Cognos space At least 2 years experience in developments & maintenance in RDBMS (IBM DB2 or preferable Oracle DB or Microsoft SQLServer), Data Modeling / Database Design, writing technical specifications, English: Fluent German: Nice to have Knowledge of BI practices/concepts, data analysis and data quality practices. Use of Cognos BI and (optional) CognosTM1 tools in the development of reports, cubes and star schemas. Experience in Cognos Business Intelligence and TM1 reporting will be highly regarded. Experience liaising with external stakeholders and strong communicative skills. Additional information: Knowledge of BI practices/concepts, data analysis and data quality practices. Experience in Cognos BI mobile reports development (Active Reports) is a plus Experience in Cognos Business Intelligence and TM1 reporting will be highly regarded. Experience in other BIPM tools (e.g. SAP BO, Microstrategy, QlikView, etc.) is a plus Experience in any ETL tool is a plus. |
