Corporate Recruitment Specialist 

Job description
Corporate Recruitment Specialist:
We are looking for a Recruitment Specialist to work in our European Recruitment Centre based in Bratislava. This role will suit someone who has worked in a recruitment agency environment or someone who has worked in a corporation as an internal recruiter doing a similar role, both with demonstrated success.

The Recruitment Specialist:
- will work in a team responsible for interpreting the external experienced hiring demand of the supported Business Unit(s) and will seek to source talent accordingly in a timely and effective manner.
- will source talent both through filling open requisitions as well as through proactive talent pooling techniques, regularly keeping any such talent pools warm.
- will use a variety of tools and resources to find candidates, being resourceful when candidates are not found using the more traditional techniques
- will be able to sell the IBM Employer Value Proposition to prospective candidates, working to understand the candidate’s own values and aspirations and being able to articulate how they might fit into the IBM organisation. This is particularly challenging for passive candidates who are not necessarily looking for their next job move.
- will screen CVs and quality candidates by telephone ensuring that only those candidates which meet the specified criteria and qualifications are put forward for consideration by hiring managers. In addition the Recruitment Specialist will use the telephone interview to assess the candidate’s ‘fit’ for IBM and their soft skills.
- will qualify candidates for open roles, put them forward for review by Hiring Managers and then own the progress of their shortlisted candidates throughout the entire recruitment process until they have been ‘closed’ with offers accepted
- will be targeted on the number of placements made as well as on the quality of candidates sourced
- will work both independently and as part of the wider Centre Team as well with the wider virtual European Recruitment Team
- will maintain effective business relationships at all times with Recruiters and Hiring Managers in the Business
- will be required to research competitor information to build networks, market intelligence and provide market insight back into the recruitment and client teams to aid further understanding of the supply/demand picture in certain skill areas
- will interact on various business calls and provide appropriate updates

Key Skills Required for this Role :
- Recruitment experience, preferably 12 months or more.
- Prior proven experience of utilizing internet job boards and appreciation of social media
sourcing methods.
- Prior proven experience of sourcing candidates via key word and skill search
- Prior proven experience of conducting market research and market mapping to provide
valuable insight/intelligence back to clients
- Ability to negotiate and close candidates
- Client relationship and client management skills
- Organisational skills - ie used to maintaining management information to report/show
