IBM Sales Model Professional (Business Analyst) 

Job description
Employees in this role provide design complex, specialized reports needed to execute the Client Data processes using knowledge of workflow or databases. Prepare standard operating procedures for generation and distribution of reports according to policies of reports management. Confers with business leaders to identify gaps, determine root causes and implement corrective actions. Suggest innovative ways to improve reporting and processes and promote them to self-service delivery. Focus extensively on automation wherever applicable by proactively identifying areas to automate deliverables to drive efficiency, quality and effectiveness.

Include creation and management of reporting databases, systems, and sales coverage and execution reporting using analysis, reporting, query and Brio/Excel tools.

Employees in this role apply professional knowledge of Client Data which includes Client ID, CMR, Sales Coverage and Transformation as well as IBM sales model information and analysis requirements, specification, generation and validation, and maintaining close linkage to their IOT and global BU counterparts, deliver client ID, CCMS, CMR , IBM sales model and coverage information, territory optimization and analysis for stakeholders that satisfy their information and report requirements. They seek opportunities to standardize and automate deliverables across BUs/IOTs and IMT to eliminate proliferation of one-off and ad-hoc reporting.

Job Details:

1. Regularly updating the databases to keep them up to date.
2. Reporting including analysis using Brio, Cognos, Excel and Powerpoint.
3. Standard and specialized analytical support.
4. Apply knowledge of CCMS, CMR, Coverage and SC&T Initiatives.
5. Adhere to NDA T&C, if applicable.

Minimum qualification:

• Graduate or equivalent degree/Relevant experience in lieu of Degree

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel & Microsoft PowerPoint
• Cognos/Brio
• Database Management
• Programming Languages (HTML, C++)
• VBA for Macros (preferable)

Language skills:

• English fluent in spoken and written
• Additional language would be added advantage
