Backlog Account Administrator with German 

Job description

The Backlog Administrator acts as prime contact to a given set of Business Partners on all generic matters relating to STS support, from contract accreditation awareness through to delivery and invoicing.

    Activities performed:
    1) Responsibility for the end-to-end Order Fullfilment Process, supporting the Order Competency Centre, managing the Business Partners backlog, and performing a number of critical BP relationship activities e.g. daily backlog management of critical orders, order escalation, ...).
    2) Improving the relationship between the Business Partner and IBM / STS:
    - Responsibility for Business Partner Hardware and Software Backlog Management
    - Problem and error resolution
    - Escalation Management
    - Shipment tracking
    - Delivery management and Billing
    - Provide support to the Order Competency Centre during the validation and ordering process.
    3) Maintain a healthy working relationship with the Partner, liaise with the Order Competency Centre for Order validation and processing, Central Inventory Management (CIM) for supply/escalations and with Local Distribution for shipment tracking & delivery.
    4) Engage with the Business Partner to ensure awareness of urgent and critical orders.
    5) Track orders loaded to the backlog and manage changes on a timely basis with the least impact to the BP and IBM.
    6) Manage all urgent situations and escalations.
    7) Manage out of line situations and obtain all necessary approvals
    8) Manage unfirm orders (FOE) and interface with Brand/BPO as required.
    9) Delivery management: avoid inventory exposure to IBM
    10) Ensure accurate and timely billing of all orders, manage complex billing situations.
    11) Solve all invoice disputes in timely manner, engaging Order Competency Centre if necessary.
    12) Contribute to maintain a satisfactory Business Controls posture, considering the outcomes of the Sarbanes Oxley and PWC review (maintain full audit trails for all activities)
    13) Actively support team achievement of STS measurements/targets
