International Assignments financial analyst
| Job description |
| This job role consists of: • Preparing timely and accurate financial analysis in area of international assignments accounting in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS, corporate accounting practices and Local Statutory & Tax requirements; • Performing maintenance of assigned general ledger accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger entries; • Ensuring full compliance with relevant accounting frameworks; • Performing intercompany billing related to assignee’s taxable expenditure (E.g. social security, wage tax, immigration fee, work council expenses) via intercompany billing tool; • Interaction with the clients (HR, chief financial officers, business controllers and other) in respect of IA accounting and financial impacts; • Managing a portfolio of assignees (validation of excess tax and its reconciliation per assignee and tax year, correct financial reporting of assignee’s expenses, liaise with tax authorities and IBM tax departments on disputable cases) • Supporting cash collection granted to employee in advance • Driving continuous process improvements, also via application of Six Sigma methodology. • Propose new controls or adjust procedures to address emerging issues not covered under existing standard practices Successful candidates can use great benefits provided by the IBM company for its employees.
