Agile and DevOps SME
| Job description |
| This internal opportunity is for an Agile and DevOps Subject Matter Expert, with solid process understanding of BT/IT, CIO internal application lifecycle from plan, development, test, deployment and monitoring. The Agile and DevOps SME will define the E2E processes for various agile and DevOps use cases within the CIO along with the overall architecture. The candidate should have experience analyzing as-is processes to identify gaps with the desired end state, architecting solutions, internally or externally, as well as deep familiarity with the internal processes used to develop and deploy IBM internal applications . Broad knowledge of DevOps related tools is a plus. Candidate must be a strong communicator, have strong team building skills, and be willing to lead and participate in cross-organizational teams. The candidate would be involved in crafting the overall solution for the DevOps implementation as part of IBM's overall Business Transformation initiatives. The candidate will provide thought leadership in the design, documentation and ultimate implementation of DevOps capabilities with energy and enthusiasm, acting as an "evangelist" for agile and devops, as we are set out to create a larger cultural change within the CIO organization. The candidate should have demonstrated subject matter expertise with the following: • Experience with agile process, methods and implementation. Scrum master preferred. DevOps End to End understanding and experience. • Experience with internal IBM/CIO business transformation processes and internal hosting architecture • Experience with implementing agile and DevOps for organizations. • Leadership experience with business process analysis to determine gaps between current and to-be processes • Participates or leads in meetings related to business process design, architecture, governance and compliance • Implements new processes, architecture and influences teams and organizations. • Understands methodology for solving business problems, develop specific solution / process designs for process implementation. • Communicates expectations and establish deadlines in agreement with the team • Ensures understanding of technical matters by non-technical, executive decision makers. • Ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization Successful candidates can use great benefits provided by the IBM company for its employees.
