| Job description An Application Focal point (AFP) is responsible for the life cycle management of applications and acts as a key stakeholder in support of IBM's execution of its legal and regulatory requirements as well as for managing the information use in its operations and decision -making. The AFP is responsible for enforcing processes to: 1. Align with the Business Strategy Understand the application's in its process and in the overall portfolio Confirm the the expected business benefits are being delivered by this application Determine if the application requires enhancements to support Help to determine if and when the application should be sunset 2.Responsible for Application Operation or Process Implementation Job scheduling Backup of the data and the application Table, Views and parameter maintenance Data analytics Execution of application controls Production control tasks including: · Review and interpret results of production sanity checks · Preparation and distribution of customer communication in case of problems and issues Operation management tasks including: · Plan, initiate and authorize all deviations from normal batch processing · DOU management and maintenance with all up- and downstream systems · Processing of TSRM tickets (incidents), production problems and change freeze exceptions · Performance analysis in case of out of range situation of the batch processing time Deployment tasks including: · Set up complete preparation for new / changed interfaces in the production environment · Cover operation aspects in the deployment calls for all application fixes and releases Project supporting tasks including: · Contribution to ASCA audits, self-certifications and pandemic reviews · Contribute operational experience to development projects Lead for operational impacts & aspects of L&M projects Required Master's Degree in Information Technology At least 2years experience in coordination and leadership skills (preferably project management experience) At least 2years experience in Creative problem solving and Analytical skills Strong communication skills (English: Fluent, another foreign language is advantage) Brio, SAP - advanced users · TSRM, RTC (tools) Preferred skills Knowledge of: DB2, MVS Cognos IW structure SQL Datastage Successful candidates can use great benefits provided by the IBM company for its employees.
