Job description, responsibilities and duties

To provide management of all generalist HR issues and to develop and implement new HR policies and procedures within the work place. To ensure full commitment to IAC policies, legal and customer requirements, support for training, team development and planning, recruitment, communications and discipline.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor key performance measures against agreed standards and detail these as part of a monthly review
• Develop new HR initiatives to support the business strategy
• To advise and support senior management and line managers in the effective implementation of the best HR practice
• Develop and sustain a company wide, best practice, integrated business system (TS16949). To work with the Management Team on key organisational and development issues
• To review, develop and implement policies and procedures for the recruitment, selection, induction and retention of staff
• To facilitate and monitor the staff appraisal system, keeping it under review and making recommendations for change in line with best practice
• To coordinate training and development activities
• To consult as appropriate with the recognised Trade Union and develop relationships between representative and company
• Ensure the Companies policies and procedures are adhered to at all times and provide assistance and support when required to other managers
• Carry out disciplinary activities as and when required
• Manage HR personnel: HR Administrator, Payroll acc., Training specialist, Recruitment specialist, HR assistant, HSE engineer
• Any other projects or tasks assigned to by superiors

• Competent and experienced within a high volume automotive environment, coupled with the ability to work as an individual or as part of a team
• Expert in HR management including payroll process (industry environment)
• Experienced HR Manager (min 5 years’ experience)
• Knowledge of Slovak labour legislation
• Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills
• Empathetic and active listener
• Good negotiator
