Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
RAN engineer (GSM, WCDMA, LTE, OSS) is responsible for technical support of wireless telecommunications networks in the Slovak republic and surrounding countries.
In this position you will:
- provide pre-sales testing and bidding support.
- Be responsible for RAN project implementation activities including RAN network equipment architecture design, software installation, integration, commissioning, and feature implementation for strategic international projects.
- Provide technical issues troubleshooting, trace the issue solving progress, make sure issues to be closed on time, HQ and client interface.
- Coordinating with third party companies (for deliveries etc.) .
- Deliver technical trainings / presentations / consulting with audiences of all levels of technical knowledge.
In this position you will:

Personality requirements and skills
Bachelors Degree or above in mobile networks, radio transmission, communications and electronics, or related fields.
Good knowledge of system mobile communications and principles of at least one of the main technologies (GSM, WCDMA, LTE, OSS) incl. signaling flow and protocols, radio transmission, IP networking etc.).
Experiences in Telecom area are advantage.
Ability to implement and supervise installation, commission and testing independently
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to meet agreed deadlines; work under pressure incl. night work if necessary
Ability and flexibility to support projects in different countries if necessary.
Fluency in English, Slovak.
Driving license.
Cisco academy certification, Unix scripting is advantage.
