Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
*To manage the New Product Introduction NPI for Procurement for SMART Electronic projects from design to manufacture. This includes the downstream supplier relationship management & contract management of the supply chain for these products.
*To develop and maintain a project procurement plan for the project that is in line with the requirements.
*To represent Procurement in relevant project meetings ensuring the requirements for Procurement are clearly understood and communicated to the relevant Procurement Managers. This would include specification, quality, timing, costs and specific customer requirements such as warranty.
*To escalate project delays, cost overruns and concerns to the CPO and Programme/Project Manager.
*To manage the ongoing contract management, supplier relationship and continuous improvement with the suppliers.
