HSE Specialist (Health, Environmental and Safety Specialist) - 1 year of experience in production required

The HSE Specialist (Health, Environmental and Safety) will support production together with existing HSE team in Stara Tura with all related activities including risk assessment, compliance, training and auditing.

Responsibilities:

*Developing HSE system to ensure compliance with corporate requirements, including the implementation of global company HSE procedures into local conditions.
*Continuously seeking for improvement of HSE culture, awareness and accountability systems.
*Proactively participating in external/internal audits.
*Creating, reviewing, evaluation and updating of action plans to maximize effectiveness.
*Participating in incident investigation activities, providing root cause analysis of injuries and incidents, identifying corrective actions.
*Providing the trainings to employees and create HSE awareness in the company.
*Reporting.

Basic Qualifications:

*University degree in Safety engineering, Public Health or other technical education.
*A minimum of 1 year experience working at production company on the similar HSE position, preferably in international environment and corporate structures.
*Certification for Safety Officer (“Bezpečnostný Technik“) is highly preferred.
*Highly motivated, energetic, self-directed individual with good analytical and problem solving skills and mature judgment and decision-making ability.
*Strong communication and presentation skills.
*Familiar with MS office (advanced level).
*Upper intermediate English and Slovak is a must.
*Project management and organizational skills required.
