Job description, responsibilities and duties

As the Sourcing project manager you will be responsible for
• leading cycle time reduction projects with suppliers for the Personal protective equipment sites in EMEA
• developing and driving a project deck for improving supplier lead time and inventory with our suppliers for EMEA sites
• strategic and operational activities in order to reduce cycle time and inventory in the supply chain with our suppliers.
The suppliers are in Europe, Asia and India, they supply resale products (Gloves, footwear, disposable, clothing, hearing, eyewear…) or components (mechanicals, textile, chemicals....)
The position requires working closely with Sourcing, suppliers, finance, legal and ISC teams.


Principal Responsibilities:
• improving supplier lead time and inventory
• developing a project deck for Personal protective equipment sites
• focus to drive "consignment and inventory reduction programme with 3rd party suppliers"
• oversee and coordinate the operational and strategy creation aspects of sourcing EMEA projects
• work with LOB (Line of Business) sourcing leaders and X-site ISC leaders to create strategy and drive projects to completion and review status of projects
• be in contact with suppliers to negotiate supply chain improvement and /or follow supplier’s actions

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Educational Specialization

• engineer or commercial degree with strong background in sourcing and/or supply chain role • both 5 years experience and a proven operational responsibility in improving supply chain with suppliers. • sourcing or supply chain expert, with solid knowled
