Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Manage and ensure overall process compliance of Multidisciplinary Product development in ACS
Oversee all aspects of software quality engineering for a given product including, establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, mitigating open software quality risks prior to launch and deploying tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
Provide necessary process training and consultancy on software processes like – ASDP, Agile, and iterative development..etc
Participate in all NPI phase gates of the software quality engineering lifecycle including maintaining and improving the quality of software releases
Lead team in usage of Lean six sigma tools in projects.
Perform process compliance audits
Deploy and sustain CMMI high maturity practices ie mentor, coach and train project teams in ACS on
CMMI L4/L5 practices.

Personality requirements and skills

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree
Minimum 8 years experience in a reputed company with responsibility of a quality function in Multidisciplinary Product development.
Experience in conducting audits as per the requirements of CMMI and ISO Framework
Experience with Agile methodology
Should have good exposure in ensuring process compliance in multi disciplinary product development and exposure to software, electronics/mechanical projects
Strong analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Good understanding of process compliance on different “project life cycle phases"
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Should have good exposure to Six sigma tools – Green belts or Black Belts certified candidates preferred
Excellent collaboration, time management, and communication skills
Will include some travel – domestic and / or international (10%)
