Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

The main responsibility of NPI Engineer is developing the process engineering methods to achieve the best efficiency in terms of time, costs and quality, as well as the optimization of the production, searching continuously for the improvement in the production.

*analyzing the production, identifying issues in the processes, proposing and application of the corrective actions, searching for the safety risks, minimizing the hazard of the injury on the work place,
*leading the new projects like new equipment start-up, new technology, process capacity increase,
active improvements of the process - breakdown reduction, material flow optimization, energy or material savings,
*proposing of new layouts in the production, looking over the process Flow, PFMEA,
*OPEX performance and to the delivery of project results,
*development of the control tools for processes and the control of assembly machines, balancing the lines,
*daily communication with local engineering department, maintenance, R&D, quality department, negotiations with suppliers,
* technical support during the meetings.

Requirements:
*Secondary level education in technical field (machinery, design, construction, automation, process engineering, industrial management, etc.)
*Previous experience on similar position at least three years with product introduction and product implementation (process engineer, project manager or industrial engineer)
*Very good understanding of production environment and manufacturing processes – PFMEA, Lean, Six Sigma, ISO norms and quality management
*Knowledge of AutoCad, ability to read technical documentation is considered as an advantage
*Familiar with MS Office
*Advanced knowledge of English (written and verbal)
*Independent personality bringing new ideas
*Very good communication and presentation skills
*Natural drive, pro-activity, self motivated individual with focus on details
*Experience with leading people is a plus
*Ability to travel (traveling all around Europe about 40 percent of the working time – short trips, coming back for weekend)
