Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

* Leader with technical expertise in the Honeywell Operating System Standard Implementation Framework
* Accountable for managing and executing Honeywell Operating System assessments and gap closure plans, partnering with the sites
* Mentoring Site Integrated Supply Chain and Site Honeywell Operating System Leaders in the elements of the Standard Implementation Framework
* Communicate and share best practices with the other lead deployment specialists and sites
* Works directly with the site resources to maintain the Digital Tracker as a living storyboard, ensuring it is always up to date
* Reports monthly on highlights within the sites
* Creates leadership standard work
* Partners with Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning/ Cycle Time to drive the Book Build Ship 24 initiative
* Direct report to the sub region Honeywell Operating System Group Leader

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

* Bachelors degree required
* 2 years of Lean or Six Sigma experience required
* 5 years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing or logistics environment
* 5 years of direct people management experience
* Must be located in the Central or Eastern Europe (Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, etc.)
* Masters degree preferred
* Engineering or Operations Management preferred
* Lean Master Certification preferred
* 5+ years progressive leadership experience demonstrating strong business acumen and influencing stakeholder
* Basic understanding of the end to end business processes from customer order to supply base with experience in value stream mapping, lean methodologies, material planning, pull systems, etc.
* Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and drive process excellence
* Demonstrated project management experience and ability to manage multiple priorities in a highly matrixed organization
* Track record of achieving results in challenging assignments and in a global environment
* Demonstrate strong coaching, mentoring and influencing skills
* Demonstrated ability to build, manage, energize and motivate high performing teams
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present up to and including the Executive level
* Fluent in English
* German language skills is an advantage
* Experience with Toyota Production System or similar operating system
