Strategic Buyer

As Strategic Buyer you will be responsible for:
*Sourcing for new suppliers and their development for multiply sites (production factories in France, Norway and Slovakia).
*Implementation of cross-functional projects (e.g. NPI to the production).
*Ensuring continuous improvement in terms of costs, supplier quality, the performance, capital improvement, ensuring continuity of the process of the whole supply chain.
*Working closely with Marketing, R&D, Quality and Sourcing Teams in order to develop synergies, meet market expectation, business growth and profitability.
*Reporting directly to Sourcing Leader for Honeywell Safety Products.

Required education:
*Graduate degree, ideally in commercial/business management.
*Min. 5 years experience in strategic Sourcing, preferably in an international manufacturing/production environment.
*Project management skills are mandatory.
*Experience in working in a corporate environment, experience with compliance.
*Fluent in English - spoken and written, French is an advantage.
*Demonstrated negotiation skills, able to carry out successfully high level negotiations with large and small suppliers.
*Understanding of operations management and supply chain processes and principles.
*Experience with JIT, Kanban, pull systems, Consignment programs / 3rd party managed inventory preferred.
*Experience of 6 Sigma tools and techniques highly advantageous.
*Basic understanding of legal/contractual agreements.
*Technical understanding – ability to read basic technical documentation.
