PhD student for MarineUAS project (00269709)

The PhD student will focus on detect and track (data association and fusion) of obstacles and terrain using a priori info (e.g. databases) and non-cooperative sensors (e.g. cameras and radars).

The training will include:
*survey of detect and track methods;
*development of a high fidelity simulation framework for validation;
*validation of promising methods in simulation (with recorded data);
*development of a high accuracy and integrity detect and track architecture;
*validation of the detect and track architecture in simulation (with recorded data), in the lab (HW-in-the-loop), and in flight tests.
