Job description, responsibilities and duties

Principle Accountabilities:
• Drive an ECCE level strategy for EMEA indirect projects on MRO or Marcom :
o Indirect productivity for EMEA
o AWPT
o Supply base optimization
o Process optimization
o Productivity and cost saving project definition and deployment in a global business
o SAP/CS&P EMEA project implementation with local buyers
• Maintain an approved sourcing process including systems, policies and procedures.
• Be the ECCE focal point in ACS/ Corporate negotiations and lead ECCE level negotiations for the region.
• Lead ECCE buying team to identify and select approved suppliers capable of providing product solutions that meet established requirements for the commodity
• Manage pricing that meets target costs.
• Support the ECCE AOP and STRAP for Indirect sourcing.
• Support the implementation of agreements w/ strategic suppliers in accordance with ECCE goals.
• Work with regional leaders and buyers to assure that coordinated indirect commodity strategies are linked across all ECCE global sites.
• Interface with Regional managers, factory site leader and site buyers to drive productivity and savings, supplier performance within the region.

1. Meet or exceed AOP savings goal.
2. Productivity/year over year savings goals achieved.
3. Goal of spend on contract
4. Contribute as a key resource on the ECCE indirect team
5. Experience in SAP projects and supplier deployment

Detailed Activities and Tasks:
Lead the Global commodity to:
• Understand the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for ECCE MRO/ Marcom spend, associated supply base spend and expected savings for the year.
• Generally understand the ECCE products, factory locations and major supplier base.
• Know and understand major markets in emerging regions for assigned commodity area.
• Conduct analysis to determine new supply base opportunities.
• Conduct negotiations with suppliers (integrators and others).
• Write and manage ECCE level contracts with new suppliers for related products and services.
