Product Design Engineer I

-After appropriate training and certification position will support Design and Applications, Value Engineering and Supplier Transition requirements.
-Candidate will be expected to serve as M&PE Investigator for ongoing technology development projects.
-Responsibilities also include specification maintenance, process documentation, conducting maintenance audits to ensure specification and process compliance, support determination of Root Cause and Corrective Action associated with process escapes, and identification of producibility opportunities and cost reduction.
-Preferred technical skills include understanding of materials, processing and applications, understanding of mechanical and design requirements for aerospace components, effective communication and participation on teams with considerable focus in manufacturing and design process.
-The main customers of this position are the Honeywell engineering, Quality and Manufacturing units and Supply Chain personnel (Sourcing) as well as the supply base.
-Providing technical support in area of expertise to supply base and Honeywell production centers located in EMEA region.
