Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Responsible for supplier quality activities for Honeywell Safety Products. Key role for the Business, as many of the selling products are either assembled or sourced outside from suppliers like high risk products for Fall Protection and Respiratory, and Gloves, Footwear and textile components, Hearing products, Eye & Face protective product.
Position requires working closely with Sourcing, Quality and ISC – Integrated supply chain team and sales in order to meet Honeywell Safety Product quality standards & customer satisfaction.
Position will be based in Czech Republic, Brno HSP office.
DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assures Suppliers understand and comply with Honeywell Safety Product requirements, specifications, drawings, and standards.
• Co-ordinate supplier assessment with all stake holders and ensure proactive communication on target supplier
• New suppliers qualification
• Perform assessment at suppliers using Honeywell Safety Products formal tools and procedures.
• Proposes and leads supplier improvement plan and executes it
• Drive problem resolution for supplier quality and delivery issues, including on-site supplier development.
• Support process of customer quality claims solution
• Quality issue resolution and root-cause analysis processes associated with supplier quality issues – support quality team
• Perform inspections at the suppliers manufacturing locations as per quality plan.
• Supports supplier product quality development in NPIs / re-engineered parts/CE/VE projects through Production Part Approval Process.
• Ensure strategic suppliers development activities like new process, innovation, co-development, etc, are complete in time
• Report supplier quality metrics
• Cooperate with EMEAI sourcing and quality organizations in following business strategy in suppliers management
• Deploy best practices, and quality standards internally and at suppliers
