Job Description/Skills & Qualifications: 
This position is responsible for the development of production quality embedded software for process monitoring, control and optimization systems. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Development of production quality embedded software for various control devices. This responsibility includes design, development, analysis and testing of control system software applications according to the defined company process. 
  • Sustaining engineering activities necessary to maintain and improve the existing control software products according to the defined company process. 
  • Provide technical product support to the Honeywell businesses during the productization process. 
Required Qualifications: 
  • Master's degree in electrical or computer engineering, preferably with a background in software engineering. 
  • 5+ years of experience with C development for embedded platforms. 
  • Experience with tools and IDE for embedded software development under Windows operating system. 
  • Excellent communication skills in English. 
These additional skills will be an advantage: 
  • Experience with various microcontroller architectures. 
  • Experience with real-time operating systems and task schedulers. 
  • Experience with assembler and C++ development. 
  • Experience with static/dynamic code analysis and secure coding. 
  • Experience with all aspects of the process of developing embedded software, including rapid prototyping, functional specification development, coding, testing and integration. 
  • Experience in the development of industrial software applications in a formal software development environment. 
  • Experience with Visual Studio and Windows application development.
