Honeywell Automotive Software is a new business focused on applying Advanced Control to powertrain development within the automotive, truck and off-highway sectors.

The HAS product: OnRAMP Design Suite uses Model Predictive Control to optimize engine control performance and reduce development effort within the design, implementation, and calibration process. Thanks to our methodology and user-friendly software, leading OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and Engineering Services companies can reduce warranty costs while improving engine performance on fuel economy and emissions.

 

This position is responsible for development, implementation and delivery of advanced control software and systems for diesel and gasoline engines and their associated aftertreatment devices. This includes participating in R&D projects, product improvements, and production and pilot testing of advanced control solutions. Primary responsibilities involve work on developing advanced control strategies for the aforementioned applications

 

Responsibilities

·         Requirements analysis, design, development and testing of control system software applications according to the defined company process.

·         Sustaining engineering activities necessary to maintain and improve the existing advanced identification and control software products according to the defined company process

·         Provide technical product support to the Honeywell field organization and to customers. This includes phone support, onsite commissioning, configuration and tuning.

·          Participate in customer and field training sessions as domain expert.
