Job description, responsibilities and duties

The fellow researcher will devote full-time to activities within the FP7-PEOPLE-2012-IAPP project CENTAUR (Crowded ENvironments moniToring for Activity Understanding and Recognition). The project focuses on advanced methods for monitoring and understanding of crowded scenes. The position is based in Honeywell Prague Laboratory, Prague, Czech Republic.

 

Job description and responsibilities


  • perform top notch scientific research in the area of video analytics and big data analytics

  • explore novel methods, create novel technological concepts, link the technology with the business needs, estimate their potential business impact

  • prototype, implement, validate and pilot research results

  • contribute to the research project individually, and as team member/team leader

  • present and publish research results to scientific, business and general audience

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)
