*Reporting directly to the EMEAI Sourcing Leader for Fall Protection, this position is responsible for site-related Sourcing activities for direct and indirect materials in Partizanske, as well as cross-functional projects related to Fall Protection materials and commodities within EMEA.
*Project management capabilities are mandatory for this role in order to drive cost improvements (benchmarks, B2B, CE, VE savings) and exceeding targets set for supplier quality, OTTR performance, working capital improvement, ensuring continuity of supply throughout the supply chain.
*Position requires working closely with Marketing, R&D, ISC, Quality and Sourcing Teams in order to develop synergies, meet market expectation, Business growth and profitability.

Personality requirements and skills:
*Graduate degree, preferably commercial in the area of Sourcing. *Good experience in strategic Sourcing, preferably in an international manufacturing environment.
*Project management.
*Experience in working in a matrix organization an advantage.
*People management experience an advantage.
*Fluent in English, spoken and written.
*Demonstrated negotiation skills, able to carry out successfully high level negotiations with both large and small suppliers.
*Understanding of operations management and supply chain processes and principles within an organization.
*Good understanding of the importance of the strategic sourcing function within a lean manufacture organization.
*Experience with JIT, Kanban, pull systems, Consignment programmers / 3rd party managed inventory preferred.
*Experience of 6 Sigma tools and techniques highly advantageous.
*Basic understanding of legal/contractual agreements.
*Technical understanding.
