Embedded Software Design Engineer (00257611)

* Translate requirements/use cases into an embedded software/firmware design.
* Design of embedded software using 8 or 16-bit microprocessors (Atmel, TI, Freescale)
* Appliance of international standards (UL, CSA, CE, ATEX, SIL) and Honeywell internal processes.
* Support the drive of DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) methodology
* Apply Agile methodology for embedded software development.
* Apply static and dynamic tools for Embedded Software validation.
* Develop detailed software specifications and design algorithms, analyze CPU resources, coding, and testing of firmware to meet specifications and ensure firmware quality
* Write efficient, high quality and maintainable C/C++ code (to work on a range of hardware platforms) using industry best practice and methodology

Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s (or Higher) degree in Electronic and computer engineering.
* Previous experience in developing software for embedded systems.
* Experience in C and Matlab. C++ is an advantage.
* Knowledge of Static and dynamic SW validation tools (Vectorcast, Klockwork)
* Knowledge in digital signal processing is an advantage.
* Skills with reading schematics and data sheets
* Good experience of specification design, project planning, and HW/FW integration.
* Excellent problem solving
* Good communication skills (in English).
* Knowledge and experience of ATEX standard is an advantage
