Honeywell Technology Solutions (HTS) dynamically expands activities in research and development (R&D) centre in Brno, Czech Republic. Established in 2003, this is the largest R&D centre in Europe for Honeywell. Our engineers and scientists develop products and technologies that are linked to our business groups: Aerospace, Automation and Controls Solutions and Transportation Systems.

This position is a part of Transportation Systems (TS) group, a global supplier of fuel-saving and emission-reducing turbochargers for car manufacturers around the world.

Job description:
As a Shop Supervisor in the Motorsports Engineering Group of Honeywell Turbo Technologies, you will be responsible for planning and supervising quality, production, inspection and logistic activities necessary to deliver to Motorsport customers high quality products on time.

Responsibilities:

Work with Motorsport Engineering on defining production, test and delivery schedules
Insure the daily reporting of inspection, production and logistical events to Motorsport teams
Monitor component inventories to support build schedule
Participate in teams’ activities in order to improve shop operations
Participate occasionally in Customer Teams meetings
Training and development of the Motorsport shop personnel
Creation and maintenance of operating rules and work instructions in Motorsport shop
Maintenance of equipment and machines in Motorsport shop, timely calibration of measurement equipment
Requirements:
Engineering degree or equivalent
Previous experience in engineering, manufacturing, logistics, or purchasing organization, preferably in automotive environment
Understanding of ISO TS 16949, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and quality procedures
Experience with managing small team
