Job description, responsibilities and duties
Business Development Manager is responsible for the further growth of his dedicated product line in the responsible region. The solution oriented consulting and advising with professional competence is one of the most important keys for the success.
Responsibilities:
*Regional responsibility in caring for and advising clients, partners and planners.
*Key account management and relationship to existing customers and authorities.
*Search potential buyers.
*Composition of tenders, preparation and presentation of offers.
*Support during the project planning.
*Market and competition survey.
*Conduct and support marketing activities e.g. roadshows, exhibitions and similar events.
*Frequently follow up of the quotations and maintain the opportunities/contacts in the current CRM system.
*Frequent visit reports to the Country Manager and maintenance of the sales forecast in the current PC based system.
*Preparation of a Business plan for the sales region and Key Accounts, including a strategy how to win new prospective customers.
*Close communication to the Internal Business Support.
Education and Qualifications:
*Technical / Engineering Degree.
Experience required:
*Several years experience in B2B solution sales.
Professional Skills and Knowledge:
*Good PC skills.
*Good English language skill.
*Excellent communication skills, self confident manner.
*Strong sales personality, strong customer orientation.
*Willingness to travel.
