Náplň práce, pravomoci a zodpovědnosti

Responsibilities:
• Organize / develop and manage high performance team
- Provide work direction and mentoring for individual contributors in the organization - engineers, technicians, and interns.
- Effectively manage and develop technical personnel, including project leads and individual contributors. Responsibility for performance management and career development of direct reports.
- Foster high performing, motivated and well diversed muti-disciplined hw design and board layout teams.

• Communication with the customers - engineering, production
- Responsible for providing accurate and timely communication to internal customers and/or Engineering Management applying advanced communication skills. Communication is documented for lessons learned and good engineering practices for organizational development.
- Have an advanced level of communication skills tobe able to communicate with appropriate sense of urgency upcoming challenges and issues; develop risk mitigation plans and present to stakeholders.
Will be accountable for communication with Project Engineers and Technical Leads in order to understand project scope as well as for negotiation of Critical To Quality requirements and parameters.
- Technical manager is responsible for resolving conflicts within teams under his/her supervision, effectively managing conflicting priorities.

• Manage multiple, concurrent development projects
- Responsibility for leadership, technical work direction and mentoring of local and global teams. Scope and complexity of work spans across all aspects of product development process related to hw design and board layout. Technical Manager will be responsible for resolution of priority issues.
- Responsible for driving best engineering and project management practices across all projects and work packages within engineering teams. Technical Manager will ensure 100% Process adherence for all stages of Product delopment Cycle as well as meeting all Critical To Quality requirements related to Work Breakdown Structure elements/deliveries.
- Develop staffing plans to provide sufficient supply of qualified resources in order to meet program delivery milestones. Interact with other engineering departments and teams to achieve defined objectives and improve organizational and product development processes.

Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, specialized in Digital and/or Analog design.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in digital hw design.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in managing high performance hw design teams (including but not limited to: planning, leading, and executing project team assignments)
- Proficient in English, all forms of communication.
- Proven ability to work in global team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels: from team members to executive management
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with global engineering centers with proven results in developing quality products on time and within cost.
- Excellent conflict/problem solving skills, self-starter with appropriate level of leadership, team orientation.
- Proficient Microsoft Office tools,(e.g. MS Project or equivalent scheduling tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with Six Sigma including Green Belt, Black Belt or Lean Manufacturing certification is a plus.
- Must be able to travel 10% of time.
