Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Calculation and preparation of monthly VAT declaration (regular & additional), netting of VAT after submission of tax declaration in accounting system SAP
  • Preparation of monthly EC sales list (regular & additional)
  • Calculation of corporate income tax – current & deferred for statutory purposes as well as according to IFRS, preparation of yearly corporate tax declaration based on Slovak GAAP
  • Calculation and preparation of all declarations related to indirect taxes – property tax, road tax (motor vehicle tax), excise taxes (electricity, gas, mineral oil), withholding tax
  • Preparation and summarization of all documents related to tax inspections and inspections from custom office
  • Collection of data and preparation of statistical reports for statistical office, national bank and other institutions (monthly, quarterly and yearly)
  • Manage storage / archiving of tax documentation
  • Support Local Finance Manager in annual tax planning activities
  • Checking of all bookings related to taxes and support of other departments of the company in tax related issues
