Job description, responsibilities and duties

A stable international company, which is developing a new shared service center is looking for an IT support for end users.
Responsibilities:
  • Hotline 1st and 2nd level support as per Client’s pre‐defined/location specific service processes
  • Hardware and Software installation, upgrade, configuration, and troubleshooting for End User's day-to-day operations
  • Support ITSM-related activities such as Incident and Asset Management, managing workflow and service requests through Client’s systems / Ticketing Tool: Receiving informative call, logging it (by means of HelpDesk Software and tools) and proceeding accordingly (Solve, Escalation...) in a timely manner
  • Performance of IT support duties as defined by the appropriate End User Supervisor
  • Ensure the good health of the infrastructure/environment under his/her geographical scope
  • Ensure the consistency and availability of all relevant Data under his/her geographical scope managing and reviewing backup reports and results
  • Support and assist colleagues; commit to and be accountable for overall group success
  • Work with other support groups and vendors to provide seamless support to customers
  • Analyze problems, develop creative solutions and assess risks/benefits

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Personality requirements and skills

  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent experience acceptable.
  • 3 year successful experience in a similar position
  • Advanced knowledge of English and Slovak language
  • Demonstrated curiosity, expertise in configuring, installing and troubleshooting PC systems,
Windows 7, MS office applications, network configuration and memory management
  • Working knowledge of remote access: Remote Desktop and software installation, deployment and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working in a wireless network environment
  • Working knowledge of troubleshooting ticketing systems such as Remedy

  • Open to travelling
  • OnCall Support is required in accordance to the OpCo Policies
