Job description, responsibilities and duties

The new established Shared Services Center in Kosice is looking for a support by its growth and development in international scope. This role will be responsible for the Payroll & Benefits Team ensuring completeness, accuracy, timeliness and alignment of payroll and benefits processing with regulatory and legal requirements. Manager Payroll & Benefits will be aiming for permanent process improvement, data accuracy and an excellent employee experience.

Your duties will include:
  • Manage payroll accounting team to ensure accurate and valid accounting procedures and processes are adhered to
  • Solve escalated payroll management related problems
  • Manage benefits administration
  • Provide leadership, guidance and support to the payroll and benefit specialists
  • Monitor and execute internal control procedures to comply with internal/external audit requirements in payroll processing
  • Encourage a working environment where people are empowered to search for ways to constantly improve processes and to innovate
  • Keep up to date policies and SOPs in payroll & benefits field

SAP - Advanced

Personality requirements and skills

  • SAP HR advanced knowledge
  • English is advanced
  • Advanced knowledge of min 1 other foreign language, other language skills is an advantage
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Customer orientation
  • Minimum 5 years experience in payroll processing, preferably in SAP environment
  • Minimum 3 year experience with people management
  • Experience with processing payroll for more than 1 country
  • Experience from shared service center environment
  • Willing to travel
  • Able to work in an startup environment
  • Able to work under pressure
