HOLCIM BUSINESS SERVICES IS GROWING

The new international service centre is looking for “Payroll Specialist”. These roles will be responsible for processing payroll, benefits, pension contributions and related activities for assigned entities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing, make sure the calculations are consistent with legal, audit and internal requirements and in compliance with SLAs
  • Calculate the benefit entitlement based on local OpCo regulations and process benefit claims.
  • Respond to employee queries and provide confirmations to employees in the area of pay and benefits as requested by Employee support team.
  • Create and maintain up-to-date the process documentation and procedures, as well as controls documentation.
  • Closely cooperate with OpCo HR team / external expert to ensure that all legislation changes are correctly implemented in the system and reflected in the processes.
  • Contribute to operational improvement initiatives within the Payroll function.
  • Cross-train team members in the area of expertize.
  • Support OpCo HR Team in his/her area of expertize.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Educational Specialization

Personalistika, mzdy

Language skills

English - Intermediate (B1) or German - Intermediate (B1)

Other knowledge

Payroll accounting - Advanced
Human Resources - Advanced

Personality requirements and skills

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics or related field
  • SAP HR advanced knowledge. Experience with Payroll in SAP for Germany
  • English (min B1)
  • Advance knowledge of German
  • Min 1 years of practical payroll experience with excellent understanding of payroll process and legislation for the particular country
  • Experience with payroll processing / personnel administration in other than home country is an advantage
  • Experience from shared service center environment is an advantage
  • Communication skills and customer orientation
  • Ability to focus on details and to deal sensitively with confidential material
  • Team working skills
  • Practical thinking & problem solving
