HOLCIM BUSINESS SERVICES IS GROWING

The new international service centre is looking for “Employee Services Specialist”. These roles will be responsible for answering HR-related questions through email and phone calls and providing guidance/first line user support for the HR systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Answer HR-related questions through email and phone calls and liase with colleagues from other teams to ensure high-quality and timely response to employee queries.
  • Provide first line user support for HR Systems such as Performance Management System and Learning Management System
  • Administer training courses, schedules, and participant registrations in Learning Management System based on requests from Operating companies.
  • Ensure that the work is carried out according to the routines for processing questions and in compliance with SLAs, as well as legal and internal requirements.
  • Register and store information in the knowledge database thus ensuring sufficient knowledge in all working areas.
  • Contribute to operational improvement initiatives within the Employee Service function.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Educational Specialization

Any social science field

Language skills

English - Intermediate (B1) and German - Upper intermediate (B2) and Italian - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Human Resources - Basic

Personality requirements and skills

  • University degree in any social science field
  • Communication skills in English
  • Advanced knowledge of German or Italian. Other language skills are very welcome
  • Ability to deal with customers in a professional manner
  • Good ability to cooperate
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Process improvement skills
  • Experience in service desk/ customer support environment
  • Experience from shared service center environment is an advantage
  • Communication skills and customer orientation
  • Flexibility and passion for solving problems
  • PC literate and have an interest for learning new programs/systems
