HOLCIM BUSINESS SERVICES IS GROWING

The new international service centre is looking for “Fixed Assets Specialist”. As a specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Deliver fixed assets accounting services (i.e. create, dispose, transfer and change assets) within the asset register and may manage a small team of non-professional staff, while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures in the drive for exceptional customer service, operational excellence and compliance.

  • Coordinate the prompt and accurate recording of fixed assets transactions (i.e. create, dispose, transfer and change assets) in line with relevant requirements, policies and procedures.

  • Monitor and maintain the Fixed Asset subledger, including creation, transfer, split and disposal of assets.

  • Assist in parameters definitions to guarantee consistency between SAP-AA and SAP-PS modules.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Educational Specialization

Finance, business, accounting or engineering

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Double-entry bookkeeping - Advanced
SAP - Advanced
Microsoft Excel - Advanced

Number of years of experience

2

Personality requirements and skills

  • 2 years of experience in B2R processes (General ledger, Taxes, Fixed Assets, Management accounting, month end close)
  • IFRS experience in multinational companies is an asset
  • Progressive experience in Shared Service Center is an asset
  • English (C1). Another language is an asset
  • Proficient in SAP FI AM module. SAP ECC6 version with parallel ledger functionality is an asset
  • Proficient in using MS Office
  • Knowledge of IFRS standards is required
  • Communication skills and customer orientation
  • Ability to focus on details and to deal sensitively with confidential material
  • Team working skills
  • Practical thinking & problem solving
