HOLCIM BUSINESS SERVICES IS GROWING

International Business Shared Service Center is recruiting the “Payments Manager”. This role will lead a team of specialists and will be accountable for ensuring accurate and timely payment of all Holcim third party supplier invoices while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures in the drive for exceptional customer service, operational excellence and compliance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the payments process (emergency manual cheques including Customer refunds, manual wire and ACH payments, EFT-Internet payments, etc.)
  • Ensure Shared Services Center generated mail handling procedures are followed as it pertains to payments
  • Support in accounting month-end and year-end P2P activities
  • Address vendor and internal business inquiries, especially as it pertains to payments
  • Cooperate with auditing activities and help to conduct testing of payment related functions
  • Identify and suggest process and system enhancements
  • Perform at a level that assists in attaining overall and team-level performance measures and goals
  • Ensure proper training of, and continuous communication with, the Payments team players on current and new processes
  • Interface with other Shared Service teams to ensure compliance with cross-team accountabilities and deliver seamless service to vendors, customers, and the business
  • Drives the implementation of best practices, continuous improvement, and process standardization for the existing processes within the teams irrespective of customer segment.
  • Provide new team members with adequate learning opportunities and provide ongoing performance management to team.
  • Willingly accepts work outside the normal scope or responsibility, perform organizational duties and ensure the security and integrity of transactions made in its area.

  • English advanced
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Solid knowledge of payments processes
  • Highly effective time management, planning and organization skills
  • Knowledge of SAP FI module is the advantage
  • Proficient in using MS Office
  • 4+ years experience in Treasury or Accounting areas
  • 3+ years experience with people management
  • Willing to travel
