Job description, responsibilities and duties
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Process vendor’s incoming invoices
- Prepare payment proposals in accordance with purchasing agreement
- Allocate payments against invoices in a timely basis
- Record, resolve or escalate vendor & business payment issues
- Resolve purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies
- Administration of AP ledgers, review of Debit balances
- Reconciliation of AP sub-ledgers to GL
- Regular processing of all staff travel & expense claims in accordance to company policy
